Alfie is an experienced people-focused executive in fast-growing businesses, as well as a coach. He collaborates with business leaders who value their people and culture to attract and retain talent, scale operations and create an extraordinary and impactful workplace. He has held executive roles at growth stage companies in the US and Europe and has worked across the technology, impact, fintech, professional services, and education verticals.

Alfie started his career in management consulting with the Resolve Group where we advised private and public sector institutions on a range of People and HR projects. Following this he helped scale and run the regional office of one of South Africa’s most successful social enterprises as Regional Director at Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator. He headed operations at Distilled Identity, an MIT spin-out and venture-funded fintech SaaS startup using AI-driven biometrics to provide the next generation of identity authentication and verification. Alfie was Vice President of People at Esme Learning Solutions. In this leading EdTech venture, he joined as employee number two and helped scale the business operations and build the team to 200+.

Alfie also helped launch and run the online Fintech courses for MIT and Oxford Said Business School. These have been attended by thousands of people in over 130 countries and have been the catalyst for the creation of hundreds of business globally. He also helped run on campus programs at Oxford Said Business School.

As a coach, Alfie works independently through his coaching practice with top management and with people facing regular life issues and life transitions.  He was hired by Redbull to coach founders at the Redbull incubator and helped design and roll out their global coaching framework.
